The Monument 345V Adjustable basin wrench is used for loosening and tightening nuts in awkward positions, particularly tap and waste nuts underneath sinks and baths. The Monument 345V is supplied with 2 jaws that have sharply milled teeth for maximum grip.
The jaws supplied are designed for tap back nuts of sizes 1/2in and 3/4in and are reversible so that when fitted on the head of the 345V one way is for tightening and by removing the jaw, turning it over and refitting on the head the opposite way round it can be used loosening the same nuts. The head of the wrench is swivel jointed to allow for different angles of attack in difficult to get at places.
The dimension of the head and jaw combination is designed to be small enough to reach nuts in awkward positions under most taps.
The handle is fitted with a tommy bar for the application of additional and the end of the handle is machined into a hexagon to allow for a socket to be attached should the wrench need to be extended to facilitate access to awkward nuts.
